Dec. 17th, 2018 12:15 pmhi it's me, blue! i'm a 22-year-old sometimes-student who likes computer science, nerd shit, and making interesting stuff. i'm migrating here from tumblr and not quite sure how to use all these features yet, but am optimistic about learning.

interests, in no particular order:
- drawing
- writing (mostly fanfic)
- knitting
- fixing my fucked-up brain
- video games (mostly minecraft and dragon age for a long time, but i recently branched out into console games to play dishonored)
- coding (not video games, mostly game-playing AI and procedural text generation stuff)
- jewelry (specifically fused glass!)
- tabletop games (mostly in theory but SOMETIMES i actually play one)
- podcasts (mcelroys, fatt, w359, the magnus archives, various investigative journalism ones)
- just a great number of other fandoms also, which i will not attempt to list here

Date: 2018-12-17 06:23 pm (UTC)so far i’ve mostly been dabbling in non-interactive stuff - i did nanogenmo this year and it was really fun, and i have a twitterbot at @whitecollarbot that generates fake white collar episode summaries (procedurals are good for that, lmao)

Date: 2018-12-17 06:27 pm (UTC)I've really only seen, like, one NaNoGenMo entry from literally years ago, but the concept absolutely tickles me to no end. What did you do for it?

Date: 2018-12-17 06:52 pm (UTC)Here are some of my other favorites:
stereotypical mary sue fanfic
the annals of the parrigues, a travel guide/story by em short (you might have already seen this one if you're into IF?)
hannah and the twelve-disk tower of hanoi (i swear i've seen a completed version of this but tumblr seems to have hidden the post for adult content,)
